Social Musings 101

So in this next article on people who have contributed creative ideas to benefit society and others we discuss,  Anna Haupt and Terese Alstin. These two came up with the idea for an invisible bike helmet. Everyone laughed at them and said how silly their idea was but that didn’t stop them. Enjoy the video below to see that with determination anything is possible. Thank you again Anna Haupt and Terese Alstin for your contribution to society.

People Who Have Contributed to Society………..

So the next person on my list of people who have contributed to society…is none other than……John Brown. Mr. Brown lived at a time when people talked, and talked, and talked, and after talking, talked some more about the abolition of slavery. Mr. Brown took action and put his money where his mouth is…and unknowingly sparked the start of the civil war which eventually led to the slaves being free. Mr. Brown’s contribution to society is that all the millions and millions of free slaves now…owe their freedom to men like John Brown…who stood up for the truth in spite of the social pressure to be otherwise….he is understood by some to be a madmen yes, but the only way the south was going to give up the slaves was by force…as slavery had become a lifestyle and one of the major economic factors for wealthy slave owners…..no pay….free labor……hell yeah…sounds like a deal…….so thank you Mr. Brown….for your contribution to society. Chanel was started in 1909 and started off with the name of House Of Chanel. Gabrielle Chanel was the mistress of two socialite businessman ( Etienne Balsan and Arthur Boy Capel). Both of these men saw Gabrielle’s fashions sense and business sense and financed many of her ideas. During World War I supplies of certain fabrics were limited as many of the fabrics were used to make uniforms. In spite of this Gabrielle used jersey cloth which sat really well on the women’s bodies that wore them. This story was good there were a lot of twists and turns to it…..don’t take my word for it.
