So Adidas got its start from two Bavarian brothers named Adolf Dassler and Rudolf Dassler. They fought a lot and for some reason couldn’t put their differences aside and ended up splitting off into two different companies, one being Adidas and two Puma. Adidas major jump was during the 1936 Olympic games and convinced Jesse Owens to use his shoes and spikes and Jesse did. Then all athletes and coached from around the world wanted his shoes…and the rest is history….sometimes family feuds can be comical and funny. But I wonder what Adidas would be if the brothers has actually worked out their differences and continued to build the company.
