So the next person on the list of people who have contributed to society is Clara Barton. Clara Barton traveled overseas and was doing humanitarian work and decided to bring the Red Cross to the U.S. Clara Barton responded to the first two majors U.S disasters the Thumb fire and Johnstown Flood. So Clara after those disasters instead of having random people helping had an organization that was organized and able to give people Hope when they needed it the most.
